Getting started

  1. Install StageDeck on iOS or Android and install the macOS companion app.
  2. Ensure both devices are on the same Wi-Fi network.
  3. Open StageDeck on Mac and mobile, then select your Mac from discovered devices.
  4. Confirm the pairing code on both devices to establish trust.

Common issues

Mac does not appear in discovered devices

  • Confirm both devices are connected to the same network segment.
  • Verify StageDeck is active in the macOS menu bar.
  • Check local firewall settings and allow the app network access.

Commands are not triggering on macOS

  • Grant Accessibility permission to StageDeck in macOS Privacy settings.
  • Restart the macOS app after permissions are granted.

Frequent disconnects

  • Check Wi-Fi stability and signal quality.
  • Avoid network transitions while controlling a live workflow.

Subscription help

StageDeck begins with a 3-day trial and requires an active subscription for ongoing access.
