Getting started
- Install StageDeck on iOS or Android and install the macOS companion app.
- Ensure both devices are on the same Wi-Fi network.
- Open StageDeck on Mac and mobile, then select your Mac from discovered devices.
- Confirm the pairing code on both devices to establish trust.
Common issues
Mac does not appear in discovered devices
- Confirm both devices are connected to the same network segment.
- Verify StageDeck is active in the macOS menu bar.
- Check local firewall settings and allow the app network access.
Commands are not triggering on macOS
- Grant Accessibility permission to StageDeck in macOS Privacy settings.
- Restart the macOS app after permissions are granted.
Frequent disconnects
- Check Wi-Fi stability and signal quality.
- Avoid network transitions while controlling a live workflow.
Subscription help
StageDeck begins with a 3-day trial and requires an active subscription for ongoing access.
